The only thing that gives me pause about the Rosewill articulated wall mount, is that this would be mounted onto some vertical slabs of press-board, and I'm afraid that too much force applied to the top of the monitor, or too much re-adjustment of the arm, might cause whatever screws that I use to mount it into the press-board to tear out and then the monitor would fall onto the floor and break. I could get two of them, and then mount both his old 23-24" LCD, and the new 28" Benq, to each side of his triangle-shaped pre-fab computer desk. It's press-board, so I wonder if that would be safe, long-term. The reviews for that one weren't universally good like the ergotron, and I would have to help my friend mount it to the side of the alcove above his desk. The ergotron seems to support 6-16 lbs monitor.Īnother possibility, is the Rosewill stand that's on shell-shocker for $14.99 until 12:00pm PST (a few more hours). If that's including the stand, then the display panel unit itself is probably 10-11 lbs. Monitor is listed as 5.7 kg Net Weight, which I don't know if that includes the weight of the stand or not.

The monitor does have VESA 100mm mounting holes, towards the upper portion of the display, and the stand appears to be removable. That monitor is a 28", which is at the upper-end of what might be possible to fit onto that stand.

It has vertical height adjustment, as well as tilt and rotate.
